WELCOME TO THE AUDIENCE OF ONE

Hello and welcome to the Audience of one. Right now the blog is under some construction but expect it to be back up in full later this week. This week here, I decided to put up a video of one of my new favorite bands... Skillet. The thing I love about this video is how it's just them doing everyday stuff! This makes them so awesome. This one here is one of my personal favorites.

My History with the Wii (and update)

(For James)

Now one question I never thought to be asked was: my history with the Wii. Nintendo's Wii is probably one of the top, if not the top, selling console(s) of all time. It's designed for casual gamers with easy to use interactive gameplay and low price point. However, once the novelty runs off you find yourself wishing Nintendo would simply just make a proper next gen system so we could see the next Zelda game and get on with it.

Now saying that, don't think I'm bashing the Wii. I have no problems with the Wii at all. From all sorts of POV's it's a great system and idea. A lot of people who were never into games are getting into gaming now and that's good, and on top of that Nintendo's pulling in some serious cash to hopefully invest in the next Zelda ( I LOVE ZELDA! ). However, it's library of hard-core games is at an all time low, which prevents me from spending much time with it.

My history with the Wii began on my eighteenth birthday I believe (Could be seventeenth). I purchased the Wii along with the bundled Wii sports and loved it! I played for hours on end. I didn't bother picking up ZELDA: TWILIGHT PRINCESS because I already owned it for Gamecube. My list of games over the years for it was short. I had No more Heroes, Raving Rabbids 2, Animal Crossing, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros and a couple downloaded games. I enjoyed them all as much as the Wii's controls could let me enjoy them and for the amount of time I had them, I'd say I got my money's worth. I bought the Wii for 315.00$ after taxes and sold it last christmas for 600.00$ + . I made a profit by far and bought a new computer which allowed me to make Youtube videos! YAY!

After about half a year with no Wii, a friend of mine offered me 300.00$ PLUS a Nintendo Wii with all the accessories and stuff for my old Laptop. So I took it and that's how I got the Wii I have now. Till this day, I only have Wii Sports so if anyone was willing to send me games (Yeah, right) I'd be more than welcome to take them, but unfortunately with the PS3 and 360 sitting on my shelve. It's kinda hard to invest in a console like the Wii. I do NOT hate the Wii by any standards, but I don't find much to interest me on it anymore, even with the New Super Mario Bros. and all that coming out. Nope. Nothing. Nothing except the next Zelda... which I hope will be on their next console... or by some random act of nature, the PS3. lol.... OMFG!!!

Zelda on the PS3!!! WTF!!! lol j/k

That would be too cool!!! lol - Anyways. That's pretty much it when it comes to me and the Nintedo Wii. On another note, I managed to pick up both Demon Souls (PS3) and Fear 2 (PS3) Thanks to the Employee Appreciation Week at EB games. Also things at work and with my friends have been going really good. I feel like a lot's improving and that's definitely a good thing.

Me and Demon Souls (PS3)

...but anyways. I wanna thank everyone for reading the blog and subscribing to my Youtube. I'm going to try and post here even more than I do now. Keep giving me suggestions on what you want me to talk about. Good Evening!
